Things that my mom told me about her pregnancy:
-When you're pregnant you and your husband's body "connected" in a spiritual way so basically everything that happens to you or (and) the baby the husband will feel the same effect too (that's what she told me when I was a kid when she was pregnant with my little brother)

-The food cravings during your pregnancy will becomes your children's favourite food.

My mom's pregnancy story: So I have a brother and little sister (I'm the eldest) I noticed that the three of us look NOTHING like siblings at all and when I asked my mom why and how this is what she says to me;

"When I was pregnant with you, I used to watched these Chinese Operas and drama series so when you were born you look exactly like a chinese girl."

So basically what show/genre my mom watches effects my siblings appearence. I have black hair (didn't got my mom's dark brown hair) with small eyes and fair skin. My little brother has a shiny black hair, a bit darker skin tone (my mom watches Hindustan movies) and finally....there's my youngest sister. Long and shiny black hair, shiny black eyes and pale skin. What did my mom watch when she was pregnant with her? You guessed it; Korean dramas.

Acid reflux, anything with fat would set it off, even regular milk, restless knee syndrome, swollen ankles, having everyone touch and tell you about your body cause it's no longer yours, I had to an mri to see if my hips wear wide enough to give birth, my daughter blocked the fluid in my spine when I had to lay in my back for it (apparently that can kill you) , double breast pads and still a soaked shirt while grocery shopping, calcium deficiency, the fact that your uterus can come away and needs to be stabled back into place so it doesn't come out every time you sneeze, that the bladder may never recover and early adult incontinence and there's never being prepared for a stillborn child and having ppl ask you months after, how's the baby? Ppl were always apologising and I felt even worse, so I started to lie to avoid it, saying she was good and getting bigger, guess I didn't know how to handle it anymore, my mom once overhead that conversation in a store, I think she explained to the lady later but never said anything to me about it, some fathers don't handle it well either, so they should be taken into consideration to.
