Really enjoyed watching this time lapse. Beautiful movement. One question - did the all Walthams come with a movement ring, or just certain grades/version?

Hi @JD Richard, how often should one service antique pocket watches? (Clean & oil) I service my own watches every year.

Shouldn't the wind indicator hand be positioned in the 12 o'clock position (pointing straight up) and then after it winds down to the 24 on the indicator dial it should then be wound up to the O on the wind indicator so that the power works on the middle of the spring? In other words, the indicator starts at O when wound up, then winds down to 24 indicating that it had run for 24 hours?

I am sorry, but, that green stuff leaves a sticky residue behind . I do not use it as shown here. It attracts everything . Lint dust hair etc.

Don’t like the video being speeded up, to difficult to understand what you’re doing and the lack of commentary only adds to that. I don’t want a music video.

You must not value this watch much .Working on it without gloves on. I saw a video of Lincoln`s watch the guy had no gloves on come on man .
