People who freak out over hyperinflation are assuming fiat currency is the same as currency with a gold standard in the 1920's. It's not.

Japan was the first to print their way out of a crisis with fiat currency and they wound up with stagflation. (Stagnant wages and a deflationary currency.)

Right now the US is suffering deflation if you look at the CPI.

Why is this? Because our inflation is due to the velocity of the dollar and consumers aren't spending. The money printed is simply servicing corporate debt and it's not going anywhere in the economy or driving economic activity.

This drives people crazy because its counterintuitive but it's the same thing that happened with the 2008 bailouts. The money supply increased but there was no hyperinflation.
