You guys are too kind!☺️
Definitely not mediocrity, I get so many gold nuggets of info!

We'll have to make a video together next time I'm over there.
Or lets say.. 5k likes on this comment for ELM to fly me to the US for a colab video😆

This is literally all I do. Two person interview three cameras. Every bit of advice he gives is spot on. Even still do not subscribe to this channel.

It is not every time that you get the luxury of high ceilings - time and time again I found myself and the crew plus two people crammed in a tight space. Being able to raise your lights high up, or far enough from your subject, honestly just makes all the difference in the world.

I have to say, 40 seconds into the video, I am already enjoying this video. Very much.

I'm impressed that your plate was able to be consistent enough to use given that you took away the lights. Somehow that didn't make it too dark. Good work! I like this idea of using a plate to clean up aspects of a shot that are static.

I swear, you guys are so underrated BUT i believ your content needs to be seen by those who it is meant for and not just anyone. You are special. I love you all the way from Zambia, Africa.

What I usually do when the budget is tight and for instance, there's only money for two cameras, is one goes to the wide angle (and funnily, we have been doing this clean plate to get the mics and lights closer for years, so now that I see it on your channel, I think we are doing things right haha), and then the other camera goes to the main speaker of the interview, a good closeup. then, at the end, I'd turn this camera to the interviewer and ask them to ask the questions again and then do some nodding and gestures in silence so we can cut them into the edit, so it looks that there's always three cameras. Usually it works like a charm, and in Spain, where I am based, a tight budget is tighter than a tight budget in the US. You couldn't imagine how much, things are so different around here in terms of production money. Anyway, thanks a lot for your content! I love what you guys teach and how funny and ironic you are. BTW been following lewis for a while now and he is great! take care

Incredible video! Can you do a detailed video of how you lit the clean plate and then how you painted out the stands, etc.?

I don't know how you are always able to explain complex situations and make them sound crazy simple, while also being totally laid back, and still entertaining. Well done, bro!

I just filmed my BTS of how to shoot interviews, and it is not even close to the excellence of quality and info that you provide. I learn from guys like you. Thank you sooo much. Big fan!

One of the best lighting setups I've learned is the back cross key lighting. Love the idea of removing the lights and boom mics with a clean plate. I'll have to utilize that in my next interview shoot!

This is something I like about you. You’re not a YouTuber. You’re a filmmaker on YouTube. You know your shit, and I like that!

Very helpful and inspiring 💚

Would love to see more on how you remove the lights and stands from the background without the light changing on the background.

Also a video on the other set up methods you mentioned, with mutliple cameras and sliders
