Its not just playing the music. But bringing out his soul through his Cello. Hauser is endowed with heavenly music in him.

Part of his grand appeal is that he hardly seems to be conscious during the time he is playing and performing. Completely absorbed in the music, he is "lost" in some place and time besides the stage itself. He puts himself into another dimension, whatever that dimension might be, to play with the utmost passion...and in any music, any genre. Truly incredible passion and focus!

I was named after this piece of music. This is one of my favourite versions. He is just brilliant.

My neighbor introduced me to The Two Cellos in all their rock and roll fantasy. My observation at that time was that these two had studied music quite seriously in order to break so many rules. Then, I discovered Hauser as a soloist. I have been enthralled ever since.
Thanks to You Tube, I have learned of not only Hauser, but the many fine young musicians that are in Europe. They play to the size of audiences that we only see for rock concerts here in the states. People young and old are mesmerized for hours of music that is so enchanting and balm to the soul. Thank you Hauser and your collegues for sharing these many gifts of the heart.
Perhaps we will see an end to the pandemic that has the world in its grip and live entertainment will once again be available. I hope to experience Hauser live in my lifetime.

Extraordinary talent. He feels the music as much as he uses technical skill. That is what makes it so powerful. He puts himself into the music. It issues forth from him. That is to be vulnerable to an audience. I respect him a great deal. More, I appreciate his artistry. He is a fine musician indeed!

Many great musicians played this masterpiece: Menuhin, Perlman, Bell.... But this rendition beats them all. He is one of a kind. He is Hauser.
