This is not a drill! An entire building of gorgeous luxury apartments is almost finished, and several of the units are being rented out for crazy low prices. This apartment is 100% brand-new, never before lived in with crazy views of Manhattan New York City! This could be your ticket to the New York City future you’ve always dreamed of, however there’s no possible way this deal will last forever. The best part is, this is a rent stabilized New York Apartment and the Landlord Can’t just jack up the rent while you live here.

See the other apartment mentioned in the video:

I believe these are the only apartments in NYC I have seen so far, that I would both want to live in and be able to afford 🙂

These rent stabilized apartments are great for those hard working people who keep Manhattan running at all times of the day, hopefully more of these are being built!

As a Canadian looking at the NY minimum wage and the NY rents, I've never been able to understand how people with the lowest incomes can afford to live indoors! This is the first time I've seen something that I would expect they could afford.

Nothing beats a BRAND NEW apartment in NYC except when it’s also rent stabilized…it’s a win win 🥰

As someone who won an apartment lottery, all the amenities were available to all tenants, from the concierge, to the on site private school . Amenities weren’t a big selling point in the 90’s . The private school daycare space would be a gym, sauna, gameroom etc. if it was built this year .

So glad to see some housing that will actually benefit working class people. The neighborhood seems interesting. The video is wonderful and creative. Sending you and your family a Christmas 🍪! Or three!

Seeing this from the Bay Area perspective it’s crazy how affordable it is and how it can help people not become homeless. We need more of this here instead of suburban houses. Affordable and great way for people to start their life.

Cash, good on you producing content for low to middle income. Thank you so much for your dedication!

What he is not addressing while stating several times, it's a good way to get started here is that NYC residents get preference for these and all affordable housing. The amount of people applying will be in the thousands if not hundreds of thousands, so it's extremely doubtful anyone outside of NY will be considered since there is such an affordable housing shortage.

As far as I understand it (from reading the NYT), developers often include, or have to include, a few rent stabilized apartments in their swanky high-rise buildings in order to get their building permits. In some of these buildings, the posh amenities (gym, roof deck, etc.) are reserved for the full-paying renters and some buildings, if I recall correctly, even have separate entries for the rent-stabilized people. So....it might not be such a paradise after all. And I'm sure there will be thousands, if not tens of thousands, of applications for the few apartments available at these prices.

Please do more videos like these! I didn’t even know rent stabilized apartments were still a thing.

It would be worth entering the lottery for one of these apartments. All new, decent sized rooms and closets, a tolerable walk to the subway and no doubt laundry in the building.

I thought it was a misprint when I saw $300 for a NYC apartment. Great to see affordable housing, hopefully more to come

What a fantastic opportunity! Those will be incredible apartments! Lovely building and the views are amazing! I think the layout of the apartments is great too with all that storage, and the huge bathrooms. Wow Fabulous video as always Cash!

Chicago has a program where you can live in a lower-rent unit in a fancy newer build if you make a low enough income, but it is atrocious. The "cheaper" units are still incredibly expensive, (Nearly $1, 000 for a 200 sq. foot closet of an apartment) it is difficult to file for, and many people don't know about it either.

This one is gonna go quick once it hits the market! Rent stabilized and a good view from the windows and decent space.
Nice apartment that's actually reasonably priced.
They both will!

Good job on affordable housing. I hope more States implement rent stabilization like this. Homelessness is unbelievable high in Nashville.

I am a very long time resident of Astoria New York City. I am an old-timer and have seen a lot. Gentrification is a great idea finally after all these decades. The whole strip along the East River Waterfront Vernon Boulevard starting from 30th Avenue all the way down to Borden Avenue that was all a blighted area when I was growing up in the 60s and 70s. It is nice to see that whole area along that Waterfront with all these new high-rise buildings. That particular area that you were in with this video all the way down by the 7 train that area was a garbage dump we used to go down there to look for cars that was stolen to take parts off to fix our cars back in the 70s. We never have to buy parts for all cars because there was so many stolen cars in that area all along that Waterfront. Considering that was a stone's throw to Manhattan by the 7 train One Stop not too many people wanted to live in that area. Anyway keep up the good work I like looking at all your videos. Very few real estate agents take the time and trouble to do what you're doing keep it up and thank you

Out of the 260ish apartments at Gotham Point there are a total of 5 apartments available at the lowest prices. One studio at $398, two - one bedrooms at $503 and two - two bedrooms at $598 are available.
