I don't know why Premiere 2023 has all of these issues... This issue and even not being able use iphone footage smoothly without changing something in a setting.

I just solved the issue! (it has nothing to do with the video though!)
So, to put it simply: The error ONLY came when I tried to render (export) a .mov file!
I could put the .mov in premiere and edit it and see it in the preview no problem. But as soon as I exported it, the error came and it didnt work

Long story short: Since my (internal) harddrive is almost full now, I had to clean it up and for the time being I set the export destination in premiere to my second harddrive (they are identical SSDs with 256GB. Bought them at the same time. Same everything).

>The ONLY difference that I can see are:
1) the harddrive where I exported before was waaay fuller with stuff and therefore had less memory free on it. It was still several GBs at some point, definitely enough for the 2min video export but anyways
2) the harddrive I exported to previously had also all my other stuff installed on it. From games to softwares to windows being installed there etc.

Whatever the reason, it worked for me.

TL;DR: Just exported the videos to a DIFFERNT harddrive and then it worked for me!

PS: I did follow all the steps in this video and also in other videos and NOTHING worked.
Except this.
You can also convert the .mov files to .mp4 and then it also works. But today I had the issue that it HAD to stay in the .mov file, so the background stays transparent for that specific file. So the converting wasnt a solution.

But using the other harddrive is a complete solution to the issue.

I have done that and it did not help, I had to try export it using software encoder and nothing. I ether get the H264 error or I get the “ xmp “ disabled, when I have enabled it before exporting…

I had applied a preset multiple times to all the clips. that was causing duplicate and was crashing my gpu. I removed all the duplicate and it worked
