the reason that they re -did the six plays one is because of the merger between 2 theme park chains, Cedar Fair and Six Flags, so they kept the Cedar Fair logo and the Six Flags name.

So “Sierra Mist” and “Starry” are actually not the same thing.
“Starry” has high fructose corn syrup and added citric acid where “Sierra Mist” was made with real cane sugar and has a less tart flavor profile!
PepsiCo wanted to gain more market share where Sierra Mist had failed, so to compete more with “Sprite” & “7UP”they created “Starry”
