Does slow and steady win the race in real estate? Sometimes when we're out there looking for the get-rich-quick model, there's a danger to it and that is the danger of mindset. Today, I'm taking an advice from one of my friends, Wylene Benson, I think fast and steady wins the race. Here's why.

'Slow and steady wins the race' applies in almost everything except a race

We raise money (in addition to ours) to do bigger deals like apartments, hotels, office... No one can do these deals ( most of the deals) because they don't the time or expertise, but additionally it takes millions. The apartments are very safe, hotels kick out great cash flow, but the others are more sesitive to the economy and carry more risk

Wondering if anyone might have any advice. I will be buying my first home coming up. And I found a great home with a back house that is rented out for about 100 dollars less than what the mortgage would be. The sellers are set on a price and won’t even think about a negotiation. Should I purchase it since the back house will be covering the whole mortgage or invest in one with equity?

To win the race in real estate you 'll need a competitive advantage (studying instead of watching TV). Otherwise you'll get poor results. It's like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. 1 out of 100 houses for sale is a deal.
