What SpaceX Just Did with Starship Booster 11 Recovery Shocked Whole Industry!
While waiting for regulatory approval for Starship Flight 5, SpaceX discovered a treasure trove under the ocean.
It's Starship Super Heavy Booster Flight 4 which set a major milestone for the Starship flight in June.
Although not intact, it gives more details about what actually happened to the vehicle during the flight.
This comes in addition to a comment from Musk talking about his intention on this remaining debris.
Find out everything in today's Techmap episode.

What SpaceX Just Did with Starship Booster 11 Recovery Shocked Whole Industry!
On June 6, SpaceX marked a major milestone in the development of its Starship Super Heavy rocket. They launched on nail-biting 4th test flight of the world's most powerful rocket.
The historic testing witnessed SpaceX complete its two main goals:
For the first time, Super Heavy completed a successful landing burn while Starship made it through reentry – despite extensive burn damage to a forward flap – and softly landed in the Indian Ocean. The amazing sight of both the Super Heavy booster and its Ship sent spectators at SpaceX's mission control at Starbase into a frenzy of cheers.
This marks a major step in the Starship program and paves the way for future, more intensive test flights. Especially, the fact that Booster 11 achieved a successful soft splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico, showcases advancements in SpaceX's reusable rocket technology. This flight not only demonstrated the booster's capability to return from space but also set the stage for even more ambitious recovery attempts in future missions including the first catch attempt by Mechazilla in Flight 5.

And now, after over three months from the test, SpaceX is conducting to pull the sunken Starship booster from the Gulf off Starbase. Indeed, on September 22, Elon Musk shared an epic photo of Booster 11 coming out of the sea.
According to the sources, the operation was conducted by HOS Ridgewind, a 260-foot-long offshore service ship, seen last week.
At first glance, according to viewers, after three months of sinking under the ocean, the vehicle is like an ancient underwater relic. Like Pirates of the Caribbean. Or kinda looks like a Kraken.
Additionally, most of the parts of the huge vehicle were destroyed except for several Raptor engines in the outer ring. That doesn't matter because SpaceX initially did not intend to recover any stages of the vehicle after Flight 4. However, in the latest photo, Elon replied in a confusing way:
