How much did your northbridge temperatures drop? I have a Rampage III Extreme and im also dealing with bad IOH temps, seems to be a common issue with X58 ROG boards. Nonetheless, im very happy with it. Im running an i7 930 (which im planning to upgrade to a six core Xeon or I7) coupled with a single GTX 980Ti.

What is the name of the cooling part that you are re-pasting?
I can buy the same motherboard for a cheap price, but the cooling part that you are holding in your hands is missing.

the cpu is a x5660 xeon and voltage is 1.325

brian i have a question
is normal my rampage formula the chipset and ram sind very hot ?? with just 4.2 ghz oc but the cpu temp is normal 35 max 37 grades temperature but the chipset and the ram i can t touch sind so hot ..
