The plexi match was good, but the Peavey match was off.

Yeah, I dunno. Something isn't quite "there" for me on the matched tones. Like it's lacking some body or something. It's a great solution for recording stuff anyway, but I'm not ready to lose my tube gear just yet.

i feel a little bit more bite on the real amps, but in a mix, live or in a record, i'm sure noone could feel the differences, and i'm sure the amps have certain model specificacions (a real plexi vs your revolt, a full on 6505 vs that mini version) that contribute even more, it's amazing how close are the emulations today

Blankets. The Bias sounds like the original amps with a sheet or blanket over the speaker. The tones are spot on but almost muffled.

What I have noticed is with a tube amp vs an axe fx/ bias head/ kemper, is that they get super close, but there is a definitive high frequency that comes from a tube amp that for some reason the tone matching doesn't quite get. that little tiny almost un-noticeable umph

I am always ready when BIAS comes out with new ways to increase my ability to be current in my studio, and also in stand alone venues...my freinds are always open and accepting of these forward minded ans high quality ways to be ahead of the pack

Pretty sweet. I've been considering pickup up Bias for a while to get some extra tones for layering. Very interesting that they made their own external hardware for it now...

What a beast! The plexi seemed like a pretty good match. The Mini seemed a little off but still sounded great nonetheless!

It did a quite good job with the plexi, but the 6505 tone just isn't there.

Hi Fluff, I have a question: have you tried using the tone matching feature by playing single note phrases or solos vs. playing chords? Ive seen a few videos of tone matching for Bias FX/Axe FX/Kemper but they always use chord progressions and I cant help but wonder if the harmonies of having multiple strings ringing out is affecting the articulation of the tone match. Keep the cool vids coming

PG head is definitely cool. I think that Revolt amp is SICK though. That thing sounds awesome!
