Think of this as jade and beck when they already broke up grew up and then meet again at a bar or a cafe, and then beck invites jade to sing and there are still awkwardness but sweetness among them that's why their heads are facing the opposite direction because their love is done. And in the end they looked at each other ending their whole history together in a sweet way.

The fact that we never got a flashback in victorious where beck first asked jade out possibly by singing to her with a guitar is criminal, like they could’ve dedicated an entire episode showing how beck and jade first met at the school and how beck became the only person jade wanted to be with and it could’ve possibly explained why he never sings very much in the show, like maybe beck only likes to sing when jade is around or something

I like this song, it's very soothing, very folky. I understand why he didn't sing on the show cause that wasn't the kind of music Victorious was normally going for. But if they wanted to, they could've written a folk song for him to sing. But yeah this is good
