America considers European people as the majority and anybody else a minority. So like she said, for the majority of Americans, beauty is based on Eurocentric standards, and if you don’t have features similar to those standards then you will be considered ugly here. On the other hand, if you are an African American woman with European features like lighter skin, a narrow nose, or long hair, you will be considered “pretty for a dark skinned girl”, and you will probably be told that you are the first black or dark skin woman that your complimenter has ever been interested in, meaning they are experimenting lol. Stop pretending like this woman is not telling the truth because it is what it is .
