Thank you for the helpful info. In 12:29 you say that watermarks and logos on your first photo may keep your shop from being featured. I put my shop name in the corner of my image. That way if someone shares the photo without including the link then they can find my shop by the name. Can you clarify - is this something I should stop doing? Is there another way to include your shop name or logo in a way that does not hinder your listing?

Hi I have to watermark my photos with my shop name on them due to fellow Etsy shops stealing my photos that I have been taking. I worry they will remove my listing when im trying to protect it. I have at least 10 or more India Etsy shops a year that I have reported who copy my photos and listings. Descriptions and all. I have been saleing over 12 years doing everything right. I take pride in my work, my photos and products. I hope this change helps us. Im tired of people stealing my hard work and trying to take credit for it. We work hard trying to stay on top of feeds with our sales. It is upsetting when a shop can simply copy and paste your hard work and be on top of feeds.

Thanks Starla & Marc. I wasn’t able to join the live but wanted to ask you if you have discussed the updated “mature content” guidelines? I make sublimation designs and have some “sassy” designs, one was a bestseller and when I changed everything how they wanted I went from daily sales to nothing. I was curious if anyone else was having this issue. I have since taken the risk and deleted some listings but uncensored and untagged the rest and running ads, I’m now getting sales again. I’m not sure why they would hurt shops that are doing what they ask?

Of course I will follow the guidelines as they change. However, what I really wish is Etsy would have to approve your first like 5-10 listings, I think it would save them all the time they are taking taking things down. If listings don't get approved because they don't follow the rules would weed out the ones that are 💩

I do alot of large camp signs im not gonna waste hundreds of dollars in wood to put fake names on all the types we do.I wonder about leaving the name spot blank so we could fill it in later and put that in the description
