I’m from Pittsburgh but I was born in 2011 so I did not witness this event but my dad was at the game as it happened and it said it was the most sad and tragic thing he has ever seen in his whole life by a long shot.

For those who don’t know, the guy on the Jumbotron is a former hockey player Adam Johnson who played for the Pittsburg penguins played with his former AAA team and he got his neck slit “accidentally” by another player on the other team that lifted his skate up while Johnson had the puck driving to the net. That guy has been pressed with assault and I think he is in court for manslaughter.

Explanation: Adam johnson played for Pittsburgh Penguins and at off season summer 2024 he was playing in another league and he got hit by the other players skate blade in the neck by accident. The ambulence didn't come in time so he died. RIP Adam Johnson. I play hockey now I'm 12 and we half to where neck guards or else we can't play. The crazy thing is, even tho Adam Johnson suffered a horrible injury, (RIP) Damar Died for 7 mins, Aiden Hutchinsons leg snapped backward, Tank dell got landed on by 2 people and couldn’t walk, plus 5 concussion career and McCaffrey just never played the same

Adam Johnson was a player for the Nottingham panthers. He skated down the ice and someone flew up, cutting his throat open with his skates. Blood spilled out, about 2 gallons, and they got him to the hospital, he was already dead. Rest in peace, Adam Johnson.

Adam Johnson was a very important Aspect in the NHL and the NHL making him very fun to watch. Unfortunately during one of his AHL games a player who was Purposely trying to hurt him took it to far and slit Adam Johnson throat. Thankfully the injury player who did kill him did not try at all to kill him. Unfortunately, Adam Johnson had such a deep cut that he bled out on the way to the hospital.
