As a young women, i dont think we need to ask the question 'who has it harder'. The difficulties through peoples lives dont depend on the gender it only depends on peoples living situation and while everyone goes through struggles in life whether that be mentally or physically is never down to gender. And while we can argue that it is more likely for men to commit suicide than women (dont come after me this is just facts) that shouldnt mean we have to base how hard someones life is over gender. Both genders can have it hard but some have it harder but thats down to the individual. Men just dont express there emotions and thats not all their fault, partly yes due to them being told by society that men need to keep there emotions in and not cry because that makes them weak (which is absolute BS btw). It is also down to women shutting down mens emotions and thinking that they dont need the validation and support of loved ones.
At the end of the day we dont need to ask this question all we need to do is to makw society a safe place for both genders to be able to express themselves and their emotions. That can only happen if we all stick by one another.
