Jackson is reissuing a boutique, USA made version of one of the most legendary 'shred' guitars ever created: The Soloist. But can the new Soloist do more than shred? We invited a very non-metal guitar player (Ariel Posen) and a very metal guitar player (Max Damske) to take the Soloist through its paces - and what we found may surprise you...

This would be a really cool series for reverb to have random musicians of different backgrounds check out different gear. Dig it 👍

I so love that you gave Ariel a shredmachine. And he played it and sounded like…Ariel Posen.

I love this new perspective, I feel like it really help me decide if I like the ger because 2 polar opposite players look at the same piece

As someone who loves both a beautiful single coil clean or edge of breakup tone AND big chonks, I greatly appreciated this video

Never thought I'd see Ariel Posen play a guitar with a Flode Royse 😂

Awesome new wrinkle to demo videos. Love it. Also appreciate Ariel being a good sport.

You really missed a trick not having these guys in the room at the same time though!

Great video. Jackson is doing some good things lately. I want one of these now just for fun. Excellent choices for demo work as well.

Am I the only one who noticed Ariel’s “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” shirt of art from the Original book illustration? I wouldn’t have guessed he’d be into Hunter S. Thompson.

Prime example of why you don't use steel wool on frets to polish them. The magnets on the singles are loaded with fibers and could short out the coils.

I see Ariel Posen - I click. In this one - I see him do amazing stuff on a shred machine.
