Knowing how many job postings per unemployed person is really not useful. You have to know how many of those unemployed people are available and qualified for those jobs. If only 10% of the unemployed people are qualified for 80% of those postings you have a bigger problem than just 2 to 1. The other fact is that some of those postings are directed at attracted folks that already have a job in a specific position. None of the unemployed will qualify for those.
