Those are all over Florida and I almost stepped on a almost white one in the rain last week ooor thing was trying to come onto the porch. So I hurried to put my stuff down inside n by the time I got back out he was gone! It was less than a min! Lol

I LOVE anoles! The ones we have at my place are all named Kaiju. There are feral cats in the area because of a horrible neighbor who animal control won't do anything about though, so I'm hoping I can catch a couple to save them from being eaten.

When I went to school in California I had my own lil army of these guys. I had one that would lay on my hat while I was in class lol

I lived in Fruitland Park Florida for a while and there were Anoles EVERYWHERE and I remember desperately wanting to just hold one, they're adorable. They get pretty big too, but I mean everything in Florida is big it's kinda like Texas in that regard.

Whenever I go down to FL, I always feed the little anoles, sometimes for hours. My dad named one no tail, for obvious reasons, and another I named posi, as he had 2 stripes down the back.

Posi ended up coming up to me when I had a bunch of gnats on my hand and he ate them right my fingers and palm. It was amazing! If I lived in a state like FL, I'd be feeding them all the time hahah

I remember i was like 5 years old and i used to catch lizards in florida. Once, i grabbed a lizards tail and the whole tail just detached and i passed out. All i remember was waking up to my brother screaming for my mom saying im dead. I still hate lizards to this day

I absolutely love lizard catching ive been doing it since i was 6 & i always took lizards doing push-ups at me as them saying that they were challenging me 😂
