ELDEN RING: Miquella DLC & SECRET BOSS DIALOGUE REVEALED! (Datamining Cut/Unused Content)

In the game files, there are a lot of references, whether they are dialogues, cut items, and weapons that the Malenia boss fight had so much more than what we got. Some of the cut content indicates that there might be DLC related to Miquella, and this video explores some of the less-known things about that using datamining!

The real way you know there's going to be a DLC is that there's no invisible crow that you can trade items with in the game yet.

I find it very interesting that in Malenia's cut dialogue she calls you "sweet tarnished" and "dearest companion". Is it possible that Malenia was supposed to start off as a friendly NPC originally, and you only got to actually fight her if you advance her questline enough? Maybe you were supposed to meet her as an NPC in the Haligtree, help her find Miquella, and you can only trigger her boss fight after you kill Mohg and rescue Miquella

Also, while fighting Mohg, the two path on the sides of Miquella's cocoon are locked. But when Mohg is defeated you have access to this part of the temple. And there's absolutely nothing which is kinda strange for something that was locked behind a boss.

Something untouched and definetly pointing to a Miquella DLC is that we get to kill / interact with all other Empyrians. Miquella is the only shardbarer we don't get any interaction with at all so.... kinda makes sense for him to be the DLC focus.

Miquella also has a voice, credited to Naomi McDonald, which throws more fuel in the fire for a Miquella focused DLC. Can't wait to see where this game takes us in the future, great video!!

Just a note to all of you, the dried husk of 'Miquella' is actually a resized version of Morgott, so it likely won't reflect his true older form.

I'm pretty convinced we'll get a DLC zone that's accessible past mohg. That bridge to nothing is too ominous. They'll prob put a teleporter there and we'll get a miquella/formless mother dlc

I thought the same thing. Miquella is mentioned so often throughout the game but we never face him. Also the race of the Numens might factor into the DLC. We never encounter them though in the create-a-character you can select them, blue-skinned beings. They are a central part of the lore too since Marika is descended from them.

If Miquella is a potential DLC boss fight, then the cut Malenia dialogue could happen if you kill Miquella first then go fight her, maybe in a different cutscene.

If Miquella is in the dlc I'll be pretty stoked. He's the most likely candidate at some point in the future.

Miquella is fascinating to me. I really hope we get a DLC centered around his character. Also another one set in the past with active Marika and Goldwyn.

I always imagined that Malenia is supposed to be more important to the plot and story than she currently is, considering that she is all over the promotional material.

Another thing about entering dreams: we enter Godwyn's deadthbed dream to fight the lichdragon, so even if miquella is dead we can still go into his deathbed dreams. Theres so much opportunity for DLC so many unanswered questions, storylines and character backstories to figure out. But miquella seems like the biggest candidate to receive DLC bc he is so pivotal and is connected to the outer gods through his needle.

Given that there is apparently also cut content involving sleep and collecting creature's dreams, Miquella's dream seems like a very strong candidate for DLC setting

Would be good if we get a DLC adding most of the cut content back. Maybe if they do bring content back, the dlc could give the final great rune for the cut ending or something. A lot of cut side quests returning would also be nice

P.S the gladiator arenas would be cool as well maybe even with PvE challenges and gauntlets etc

Either Malenia used to be Millicent or we could return Malenia's sense of self to her with Millicent's needle before fighting her and she inherited Millicent's memories. Either way there used to be more to her/Millicent's quest or it was entirely different before the final game.

I would love a DLC of Miquella's dream, or nightmare. I would also love DLC showing the Shattering and Hoarah Loux getting chased away from his new life of royalty, or even a DLC where we go to the Land of Reeds.

That phase two dialogue from Miquella makes a lot of sense. In alchemy, dew had properties of rebirth. Unfortunately, it also is an agent that starts the process of decay.
