Man. I feel bad for Radahn and, surprisingly, Mohg too.

Miquella was decribed as the "cruelest of the empyreans, " but Jesus Christ, with all we can glean from the new lore bits, he's just awful.

So you're Miquella, right? You offer your half-brother to be your consort. Obviously, that's weird for many reasons, but there's a war going on, plus he's got his own sister to worry about too since she just severed her soul from her body, so he politely declines, but says he'll call you back in 1-1000 business years.

So, do you take this rejection in stride and maybe find another strong consort candidate? No! You send your sister Malenia to kill him so you can yoink his soul and force him to. This not only backfires into almost getting *her* killed, but plagues a 5th of the continent with super-AIDS and doesn't even kill the guy you wanted dead because his great rune burns so hot it actually keeps the rot at bay.

Coming off the back of that failure, what do you do next? Forcefully charm your other, weirder, half-brother Mohg who's been shunned by society into cutting you from your Haligtree (which you basically have now left to die) and have him drag you back to his palace and pour gallons of blood on you so you can access the shadow realm.

You leave your sister behind to grieve because you're now gone, but hey, this is all to help The Lands Between, and cure her rot too right?

You get to the shadow realm, set up shop, sever your kinder female half from yourself and leave her in the bottom of a pit somewhere off the coast, and find there really isn't much else to do. Years go by, you charm some more sorry saps, say hi to your other brother who got banished here forever ago, and kinda just continue to hang around.

Even more time passes, and Radahn, despite the odds, is still kicking. Maybe you didn't think this through? Nah, it's fine as eventually some brave Tarnished of 0 renown comes along and actually kills Radahn, sweet! But not only that, they kill Mohg too, double sweet! So you yoink Mohg's less rotted body, sculpt it to look like a younger Radahn, and shove Radahn's soul in it. Only to then use it as a meat puppet with no free will to destroy any detractors of your new *"Age of Compassion, "* which you have so ironically named it. And do you offer this brave Tarnished a seat at the table for (though unknowingly) doing what your sister couldn't and helping your plan? No, you jump straight to murder and bewitching again obviously!

And somehow, despite all of those outright vindictive and heinous acts, *you still think you're the good guy.*

I think Mohg deserves an apology for all the jokes we made about him.
Poor guy didn't deserve to be compelled to love someone, only for that someone to use his corpse as a vessel for the soul of their half-brother who already rejected him.

So, Miquella really was as manipulative as a whole lot of people theorized, hell he can even "Steal your heart" during the fight and make you side with him against your will, just by whispering in your ear a couple times. It throws his whole character into question...
