Lions have crazy reflex. Komodo dragon is not quick enough to turn its head before Lion reacts. As soon as lion gets its Jaws on komodos neck it's over.

Lions are known to go for the neck and the head area and they are definitely a lot quicker. The lion could kill a monitor lizard easily 😂 but for a Komodo Dragon…. It can go both ways, if the lion doesn’t get a fatal blow and gets bitten he dies for sure. Although the Komodo will probably die from the fatal injuries as well.

There is a reason why the Komodo dragon is found in only one part of the world. It could not survive anywhere else. Surely couldn’t survive in Africa. Because it could be killed by many other animals, such as lion, hippo, crocodile, leopard, buffalo, Africanized bees, etc. or how about in America where it has to tend with alligators and grizzlies?
