The HD is great gun, but sometimes i find it to randomly just bounce around from time to time

I like this weapon. Didn't know it had less recoil than the SMG 08.

Time to get those AT mine kills I guess.
The Factory is pretty forgiving in terms of recoil at range, but the muzzleflash combined with that tiny front sight post can make it a bit hard to see what you’re shooting at.
Will definitely go for the unlock and take it for a spin👍

Besides I’ve got everything else unlocked, so why not?

i just wanted to ask people if they think the shotguns really are OP? i mean the are out ranged by every gun in the game so you can only use them in CQC maps.. what do you think of shotguns in bf1 people of the internet

Just unlocked and loving it, my first match with it was Sainai dessert and I was consistently killing snipers and medics who usually dominate the open areas. It still isn't an Lmg since it fires pistol rounds but for a support/Lmg type of player this gun a magnificent for me.

a factor you seem to forget is the overheating of guns (already noticed that in your video about the SMG 08/18 Factory). Both Hellriegel Versions overheat after firing 40 bullets while SMG 08/18 versions overheat after only 31.
Now to the gun we are talking about. My first experience with the Hellriegel in general was last year when I picked up the Defensive variant from a camper in tdm (on Empires Edge) and I loved it. but now I just feel like "ye, I unlocked it but it ain't that great." at some point I was playing conquest, the server got more and more empty and there was this person (I don't remember their name, *waves at you in case you read this*) who helped unlock it by repeatedly spawning as cavalry and riding into my AT mines
With it I kinda have the same problem that I have with the SMG 08/18 Optical. even tho I aim directly at my target a lot of my shots don't seem to hit. also the bipod doesn't really help much when shooting over longer ranges due to the guns damage model and the rather slow muzzle velocity

The new general liu with the bolt action mode. Storm variant prefered.
Mondragon sniper and storm.
Mg15(all variants are useful)
Bar telescopic
SMLE carbine-the scoped rifle with the longest range without that glint
The new M109 exp with bolt action mode
MP18 exp - actually very nice weapon for slightly longer ranges

If you use it as if you were a saw gunner by assaulting objectives then deploying the bipod to hold and defend said objective. It can be the most devastating gun in the game

I just unlocked that gun. I had to steal that weapon from other players, but I really enjoyed the time I played with it. It really is a hidden gem. But Goddamn it's hard to unlock, those mine kills are hard to get. But, I will say it's satisfying every time you kill a horse or a tank full of enemies. It feels so good to get kills and points out of nowhere 🤣🤣

I think a lot of people don’t like that it’s a optical version, a lot of people don’t use it for that. But if I want a bipod with hi ammo I tend to go to the support class for that. I did use it recently but it probably shines best on CQB maps.

I think I've only ever gotten a handfull of kills with the defensive, so I'm definitely going to have to equip it and work towards that service star soon. After I unlocked it I tried it real quick, decided it was worthless, and I haven't touched either Hellriegel since. I'm definitely excited to give this one another try now though, as you've pretty much opened my eyes to the fact it's the closest thing we have to a pre update smg 08. IKR!! I just started using this today after you mentioned it in the last vid, and as I've never really used it. It's surprisingly good whilst still being balanced.
