End-to-end Incident Analysis by Jason Yee | CODEstantine

As software systems become more distributed and complex, failure is inevitable. But catastrophic bugs and system outages can be excellent learning opportunities to build more resilient applications. This session provided methods and techniques for gathering information and effectively using that information to avoid and mitigate failure in the future.
Jason covered best practices for gathering systems-related data, including monitoring and logging. It covered practices for gathering and recording people-related data; including methods, we can adopt from police, accident investigators, and other safety management professions to learn the most from incidents.

CODEstantine is the largest community for experienced developers in Southern Serbia. For the past 5 years, CODEstantine Conference had over 1000 participants from the entire region.
This year CODEstantine is going global – a series of CODEstantine Meetups is expected to gather dozens of worldwide tech experts sharing their expertise about cutting-edge technologies and the newest trends.
