Unattended Pushchair Mangled by Train Passing Through Nuneaton Station

The Rail Safety and Standards Board released a video from Nuneaton rail station, showing an unattended pushchair rolling into the path of an oncoming freight train.

The footage shows the pushchair get destroyed by the train, and thrown around the station platform.

In releasing the footage, Paul Leach of the Rail Safety and Standards Board said “the best way of keeping you, your children and your belongings safe is to keep hold of your pram, fully applying the brake where possible”.

Christ sake… would she have been so inattentive if the baby had been in the pushchair …. Shudder to think what might have happened…. Trouble is it’s always the train crew or the station staff who have to, pick up the pieces…

Common sense fails as a wheel chair has brakes for a reason. And also instructions for those with no common sense but the you need common sense to read the instructions. But the sad thing is it could have been worse and the possibility of it effecting members of the railway even more. So as always the case it’s the innocent that suffer. Basic mistakes that leads to others pain. The times for most of today’s society, , , completely oblivious to the real world around them.
