Faith without works is dead, that is, faith in God apart from faith in Christ is dead.
I come to this conclusion w.r.t. this interpretation because it is the WORK of God that u believe in Christ.
Christ is God, btw.
Also, in the same chapter, I see that James (Jacob) was NOT preaching faith plus works

People in severe trauma PTSD for 4 decades overlapping layers of trauma living every day, every year from abuse, losses stealing & destroying all their belonging from them for 2 decades you. will live in shock no one deserves to be treated this way nonstop of injustices. Like those people been severely bullied, they are dead. ( Brain) only their body still lives. You can't stop thinking about why they did it to innocent people. Stealing and destroying nothing have left even my health my heart and all major organ are all in pain 24/7 for 2 decades I'm so tired to endure the pain every day

Absolutely one thing that helped is realizing 'works' is also in simple every day interaction. How do I treat people? What am I even doing all day? Even an ordinary life has works moment to moment. Though I'd caution people to remember that things like anger and contempt in the heart matter. Lust that never leaves the mind can still be adultery. So says Christ. Clearly a thought that never makes it to the lips or to the hands is still something God does not want in you. Can you truly say you love someone as Christ commanded with hatred lurking right behind your eyes?
