... As a german I can confirm we do. We also have vending machines for milk, eggs, potatoes... Everything the farmer things is ok to pack in there will be available. It's not everywhere and you need to search, but I love it. It is directly on or just before the farm and you can go there 24/7 to buy what you need. AAAND it will be payed directly to the local farmer and not to some big concern and then just a minimal amount to the farmer.
The downside is, you need to mostly drive there with car, so for people from big cities without a car (yes, even in car loving germany it's a thing), you won't get there easily. And you have to know where it is. But if you do, it's convenient and practical. Saw a milk vending machine with chocolate and strawberry and much more flavors. It was a pulver in the bottle and you would poor the milk into it and the mix it.
It's just a blast to see all that happening.
