What if Anakin Went to Mandalore to Fight Maul- Star Wars Theory (Scenario 1)

During Clone Wars Season 7 with Ahsoka fighting Maul, we all wondered what would have happened had Anakin Skywalker actually gone to Mandalore to fight the Sith. Maul's whole plan was to kill Anakin, so that Sidious plan would be foiled. This of course didn't happen, as Anakin went with Obi-Wan Kenobi to save Palpatine from Dooku and Grievous. Anakin fought Dooku and it was a really cool scene, even cooler in the books with force powers being used, heavily. Anakin would have fought Maul and two different outcomes could have happened. We could have had Maul win, or Anakin win. Both would yield two very different outcomes. In today's fan-fiction on Star Wars Theory, we're going to take it through scenario 1 where Darth Maul actually ends up beating Anakin on Mandalore in the throne room. How will this affect Order 66? Who will join Obi-Wan to fight Dooku over Coruscant like we saw in Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith?
Who will take down Dooku? What will happen to the identity of the Chancellor then?

If Anakin beat Maul, without Palps there to make him “Dew It” I think Ashoka would stop him from killing Maul and they would instead take him alive where he would then reveal Sidious’ master plan. And for the scenario let’s say that Dooku also spills the beans to Kenobi and Windu so we have both of Sidious’ former apprentices being able to testify in front to the senate. What would happen to Palps with Dooku likely being given a merciful punishment for his information, possibly even rejoining the Jedi order. Maul will likely being executed for crimes against the republic. If Palpetine happens to escape what will he do? Anakin knowing about his true identity would never join him, he would likely reveal to the Jedi that Luke and Leia were his children and would leave the order and live out the remainder of his life and Naboo with his wife and children. Dooku being betrayed by Palps (as he would try to get Windu to kill Dooku to end the war) wouldn’t join him, and Maul is dead so Palps is kinda stuck in a corner at this point.

Interesting video as always. ^^ But if I may, I'd like to point out some errors. For example had Anakin returned to Mandalore, it be most likely while Ahsoka is Pursuing Maul and Death Watch in the sewers. After all, Ahsoka and Maul don't fight in the throne room until much later, as Ahsoka was told by Obiwan of Dooku's death, and how he was going to Utapau to capture Grievous.
The only other error I can detect is Palpatine biding his time for the next 20 years, because once Grievous was dead, the Jedi were going to demand his removal from office, even before discovering he was a sith. So odds are we'd still get the confrontation in Palpatine's office, but without them knowing prior that he's sith, he'd take them by surprise, and probably kill all of them, then most likely declare order 66, which can lead down a whole other rabbit hole, given Anakin's death by Maul.

I would imagine that at this point in his life Anakin would easily kill maul in a duel, especially if Ashoka's life was in danger

I want to say that even with Darth maul being an Older, Wiser, and experienced Dark Side user, I think Anakin's experience in the war would overall make a more powerful character, especially since he just harmed Ahsoka, which would fuel his anger, making him more powerful as a result.

That's my view from each of the characters at this point at least.

It’s really a shame we never got to see Anakin vs Maul. There was at one point a book about how Anakin would train against a protocol of Maul’s fight with Obi Wan from TPM, so it would be really cool to see how it would go down
