I'll just wait a while but it definitely seems this update is much more safer then the 9.00 update. Thanks for covering this

Never updated to 9.0, but installed 9.03 on both a launch PS4 and a PS4 Pro with no issues. Both had an external WD Black 5TB HDD connected during the update. Everything works great. Update was fast, and both consoles and external drives run, play games, and connect to the internet and PS store as good as they ever have.

I heard about all of the issues with the 9.00 update 2 months ago, so I didn't want to risk it. Last week I turned on my PS4 and it wanted me to do 9.00 update ( I just turned the system right back off ). I will stay up to date on your info about this 9.03 update, before I even plug it in to try it.

you hit the nail on the head my friend, i was gonna wait a week or so and see what the consensus on 9.03 overall is, ill be keeping an eye out for your video on i ... I didnt even know 9.00 was a thing until i seen a flood of issues with it, so i never updated on it, and im glad i did. Few of my friends updated to it and didnt have issues but i wasnt that brave enough. Im glad 9.03 is out, i really am so i can finally update all my games lol. But i plan to wait until 9.03 has more positive reviews :)

Dude I can't get mine to update no matter what I do. I tried to do it in safe mode with usb and it won't Fml all I can do is watch TV on my ps4 now

I downloaded it one hour ago and my ps4 doesn't have issues. It only took my ps4 2 minutes to update and the console seems faster now. Maybe you guys need better internet.

9.00 bricked mine.ive updated 9.03 today new zealand time, and now its still booting slow and now its on but with blank tv screen has this happed anyone?

I’m in safe mode and it’s like a loop won’t let me get out of it I’ll see the ps icon and it just cuts and goes back to safe mode

I can play my ps4 but no wifi my friend game shared to me so he cant play his own games and had to factory reset his game he had for years

As a victim of 9.0 which lead to my OG PS4 running like shit after initializing it I took the risk with 9.03 and so far so good on my end. I do feel as if it fixed the slow main screen loading a little. I still feel like my PS4 isn't running as great as it is before 9.0 but slightly, just slightly better than before.

Games are somewhat and not really playable but it's still laggy and unfortunately my system will chug and still be bricked from time to time
