I love Bowie too, but Raj is honestly some of the best gay rep I’ve seen in a while. He’s not a stereotype or anything, he’s just an average dude, and his crush on Bowie is like how anyone would have a crush, gay or straight y’know

I really love how they avoided the opposites-attract romance with Raj and Bowie. It's super awkward, and cute, and it just feels like two teenagers figuring things out as they go.

my favorite part about bowie and raj’s relationship is how supportive wayne is. he’s just excited for his buddy to be happy and who he is. I also especially love the “or bi” part. so many shows and movies refuse to acknowledge the idea of bisexuality at all and as a bisexual it was so nice to hear wayne acknowledge that raj liking bowie doesn’t necessarily mean he only likes men

I know this isn't something we even think about, but hearing the word "gay" used in an animated television show is such a big deal. there's a lot of power in it, in wielding the identity instead of just having a character "like boys" or whatever. one of the better ways i've seen a gay character and gay romance develop in an animated show.

Raj & bowie are like the best-confirmed couple. The most responsible and healthy thought process in Total Drama history. So many couples in TD rush into things, and it ends up biting them in the butt, so this was very mature.
I'm glad Bowie never backstabbed Raj or anything and was more than okay with going on a date after the show

I'm so happy with how Bowie and raj went, they made them smart and very healthy about it, I'm super excited to see them in the second season and I hope they don't ruin it. Also I love that almost every episode has something gay in it

Y'know I thought for a minute that at some point during the game that Bowie was going to end up using/backstabbing Raj. But nope, that ended up not happening at all thank god.

Also kudos to Bowie for being responsible and straightforward with Raj, since he told him that he'd be willing to start the relationship after the game and also giving him a "heads up" that there might be a time where he'll need to "kick him in the teeth" since they're in a competition which I'm glad Raj was very understanding of.

Okay, we all love Bowie and Raj, obviously. But, I completely forgot when Zee straight up grabbed chase’s ass and started complementing how solid he was. Oh, and Emma knew there was something happening there, and she was jealous, 100%. 😌
