I enjoy this format without a timer. Mike doesn't panic, therefore we get to experience his thought process as someone with years of experience cooking, rather than pandemonium. Kush is such a fantastic addition to the team.

Mike talking shit about himself and then Kush sweetly tricking him into giving a detailed explanation about why he's done such a great job is the most wholesome thing I've seen all week.

I would absolutely love if we saw Kush teaching the boys (and us) more. Supremely entertaining

Loving seeing more of Kush in front of the camera. Would be interested to see him face off against Barry and Jamie in this format. Also: the way he just slowly moved the shelving closer to Mike was hillarious.

Kush seemed to explain every decision more than usual and I am here for it! Might be me, but it seemed so dense with cheffy tips today. Love it

Love the way that Kush had his cooking order all planned out and was starting to cook before Mike had managed to get his cards in order lol. That really is the difference between a chef and a cook. A chef can quickly decide what needs to happen and get onto it, with multiple things on the go at once.

That was an interesting point Kush had about it being more relaxing if Mike had designed the dish. It'd be cool to see Mike design a dish and Kush go in blind.

This is my favorite of the series. Mike is so calm and confident. Actually love watching him work. Plus, Kush is just the best.

A "Classic sauces" episode with Kush would be great! Mike's never made a peppercorn sauce until today, and I suspect most others haven't either!

I love Kush's calm teaching style. His ability to explain complex ideas very clearly and concisely underscores his expertise.

I love watching Mike cook. He really puts his all into it. I feel he's always trying to learn and create better dishes. Can't help but root for him. It's been really fun to watch him learn from Kush and Kush is a great teacher and an inspired chef. It might be fun to see Mike come up with a dish and have Kush cook what he thinks the dish is just from the name of the dish.

I am absolutely loving Kush's point of view in all of these battles. He shares quickfire tips, and explains why he does something and when. I'm learning little tid bits each episode.

One thing I love about Sorted is how humble everyone is. It really feels like professional chefs come here to chill and just have fun with cooking without having to worry about being "perfect"

I have an idea, The Ultimate Michelin Star Battle, each normal picks up a dish from any michelin star restaurant they like, and re-create them without any help from the food team!! And then you tell Ebber's that one of the 3 is a michelin star dish which you ordered, and he has to guess even though they are all made in the studio!!! Please do it!!!

Kush is like that mischievous child who doesn’t know what to be up to when he has time on his hands . He’s great to watch!

Really enjoyed Kush's descriptions of what he was doing and why. The calm tone was really engaging and super informative. 👌

I really liked seeing Kush at the end, asking little Michael about how he went about cooking the dish and getting an image of where things went wrong and how he actually did rather well despite his "inexperience". This is such a fun mini-series

I love how Mike is entertainingly just like one of us normal, but all the time Kush is giving us tips & techniques to improve our own skills - like deglazing the tray the tomatoes were roasting on! Never, ever have I before - I will now!

The thing that this really illustrates is the depth of knowledge and understanding of not just the how but the *why* of the decisions a trained chef like Kush has that makes a dish come together as smoothly as possible, and the experience he has that lets him figure out order of operations.

I feel like Mike holds his own pretty well in this format. Either that or the editing is supreme. Probably (definitely) a mix of both.
