I watch a lot of catfish bait videos, and none of them really hit the mark. But this one does.
I like the idea of a premade base and a fibrous element added to it to keep it on the hook.
I’m thinking Velveeta cheese, ground up cut bait, chicken liver, something like that, all softened and blended to make a base.

Then, add the cotton and corn flakes.
I am a little unsure what the corn flakes bring to the party, but hey....I’ll give it a try

Take a old blender, add half block of cheese, garlic salt, chicken liver and flour. And there you go to make your own dip bait

Not sure why this is called the best catfish recipe, when all you did was add cornflakes to what was already a pre-made bait. It would appear that all you did was thicken the bait so it could hold better.

Just did this same method with the same bait you used in the video. I live in Arizona and the 110 heat makes these dip baits useless. They melt off the hook before you can cast. Definitely thickened up the bait, going out fishing later, I’ll tell ya how the bait held up

Hey you should try another bait. 1.Get some chicken breast that is really cheap. 2. cut chicken breast to smaller sizes for hooking. 3. put 1 package of kool-aid that is strawberry flavored, into the cut up chicken breast. 4. let sit for 1-2hours.= Best bait ever!!!

Use a plastic cutting board and a spatula. Lose less than on cardboard.

There's a bait I use nobody uses on you tube and everytime I fish with it it catches fish, also created a catfish bait that's better than dip baits

Good idea but go for flour. That will clog up fish guts, death. Other species will eat catfish bait. Just a thought. Good video content.
