There is nothing wrong with modifying hardware that you own. I've given nintendo at least 20k of my hard earned money. Modding my hardware will make sure none of that money goes to waste.

the rules here are you are not allowed too copy a dvd blu ray or cam and then upload it. you CAN download ANY file that is available as long as you are not selling it and its for personal use only. it's the fault of the original upload-er and the consumer holds NO blame.

I've been moding my consoles since the Snes and Megadrive days, cfw all my consoles from 360 onwards, the reason? So i can keep my digital games, dlcs, patches, homebrew stuff backed up on Blu-ray discs etc, i also recently mod chipped my switch oled, its great i can run all my game from a 2tb card as well as have all my game saves, cheats, dlcs easily accessible, there is no way i would go back go stock consoles, I'm a pc gamer usually because i like the freedom to mod my games without being restricted but consoles running cfw brings the same level enjoyment.

There’s nothing wrong with modchips, I use one to run homebrew apps like gamesave backup because some games don’t allow gamesave backups and I can plan the gameboy games on the switch that I legally own. Don’t feed the trolls

I modded my new Nintendo 3DS XL that I've had for years a week and a half ago after watching the Switch 2 Direct and seeing Nintendo's corporate greed. I'll stick to playing old games and Nintendo can go cry about all of the sales they're going to miss out on as they raise the prices for essentially the same or worse games.
