I’ve got to say I’ve got mine through the post on Sunday the 60 W version and its absolutely brilliant I am bit of a tube snob but now realise it’s come such a long way even from the fender tone master that I own it’s come along way since that amp, happy days.

For anybody considering one of these, the 60w is seriously loud ! I use mine on the 0.5 watt mode for use at home which is perfect. Full power mode is blow your windows out levels it’s is unreal!

Paul is such a nice man and an outstanding example of the right man doing the right job in the right place. No one could do this better. It's such a pleasure to watch and hear him, he can effortlessly explane in understandable language and examples what the people who they aim for need to hear and see. And being so skilled he got so much credibility. And he always manage to let outshine the product. Paul is Top notch.

Wow, im getting one of these. That Crunch setting sounded so freaking good. I got John mayer live vibes from it. Dark and middy tone. Love it. The fact i can use it to run my stomp through is a bonus. Nice Demo, much appreciated!

I'd like to see a more full featured footswitch that let you do Bank Up/Down (to access all 6 banks of Ch. A/B), plus a Boost on/off switch, and a new "Lead" button that lets you dial in a master volume boost for leads (no tone change, just louder). My (wounded) Helix LT may cost more to repair than just buying the 100W version of this.

After working with both for some time these are my quick comments. Both are GREAT! The Katana 50 is a home practice amp due to NO EFX LOOP, and limited foot switching capabilities, and lesser speaker. Katana 100 is the FAR SUPERIOR LIVE AMP... with EFX LOOP, FABULOUS foot switching capabilities, global EQs, enormous EFX selection, Better Speaker with tight Low End, LOUD, and Acoustic Guitar settings ! I preferred the CATALYST for Studio recording for the variety and type of Voices, the Very Useful Sag, Bias, & Bias X controls, EFX LOOP, And Direct Out Sound. The speaker tends to be a little FLUBBY and the foot switch controls are EXTREMELY limited! Quite Happy with Both!!!

I don’t hear any fizziness in any of those models. They all sound like amps, not like models of amps. I’m very impressed and $400 for the 100W is a great price point (and Paul is so good!)
