I use a 2x4 cut from old lumber that was in my chicken coup and it’s shaped kinda like a churn handle to tamp down dirt all around my trap, because of age my hands aren’t as strong

I picked up that coyote don't like anything that might touch thier face. I don't do any guiding but I'm going to be aware of anything that needs to be removed. Good information, good job, thanks

I live in Arkansas. I have to cross stake. I first started using rebar stake. I I used a 22 inch 3/8 rebar single stake. I caught a coyote but he pulled the stake. I got him. But aftet that i cross stake them. Now if i cross stake i use 2 24 inch stakes. Most of the time i use wolf flang or drags.
