People say that these are the rules, but the King isn't enforcing them - people have hugged and kissed him, and he accepts it. He probably doesn't like it - would you? As for selfies - it's a generational thing rather than a Royal thing, and it's not polite to put a phone in somebody's face - Royal or not. William is fine with selfies, but he's been brought up with it with his friends. There may be etiquette rules, but the King just meets people as they come, and it's him who makes the effort to put people at ease.

King Charles is a king only in the UK. He is not king to any other country. Therefore meeting him is very doubtful for me and even if it was possible I would not enjoy the encounter. His treatment of Diana was cruel and callus. Now he is treated his son Harry the same way. How can you turn your back on your own children. Heartless.
