Relatively new to your channel. Subscribed immediately. My wife cooked for us for years. Sadly she now has a neurological condition and cannot cook any longer. It will be our 35th anniversary on September 26th. I’m going to attempt to make this(we both love cabbage). You touch more lives than you know. God bless!

I learned to make something similar from my Polish grandma. I don't use potatoes, we use wide kluski noodles with cabbage, kielbasa, and onion.

I make this dish all the time. I cooked the cabbage until softened, set it aside. Onions cooked it butter, then add garlic, can of Rotel. sliced thin smoked sausage cooked until browned, then a can of yellow potatoes, same browned up a bit. Add cooked cabbage, more butter S&P. heat through and serve with corn bread. Very similar to yours.

This kind of reminds a little of me of an Irish dish “Colcannon” with sausage instead of ham. Yummy combination.
