What is the transmission recommendation on L4 is it normal to drive on D mode or we need to shift gear manually.

Sir, same model po ng hilux ko yung ginawang example nio po. Tanong ko po normal lang ba na tutunog pag naka engage na sa 4Lo tuwing tumatakbo na, pareha po yung tunog sa naka engage na handrabrake na pinapatakbo .
nawawala yung tunog pag naka tigil na.

I cant shift from h4 to h2. The knob is just block. I was just from using the h4 and had to accelerate pretty much. What should I do? Plus I feel the steering wheel kind of hard now
