Aperture Priority Auto ISO and Milky Waterfalls

Shooting landscape photos of waterfalls looking for that elusive milky effect was something I tried and tested many years ago with my Nikon F3 film camera (lovely camera). It didn't work very well...

Shooting digitally gives you a lot more scope and tools to play with to get the effect right by blurring the water using a variety of methods and techniques including smaller apertures, low ISO's and a couple of filters. Quite simple once you "get it".

This was shot in 2009 and my images have improved a lot since so watch this, grab your camera, tripod, lens and polarize/ND filter and go out and give it a go yourself.

ND filter is the thing to go for in this case, rather than F44, polarizer, etc.
