Great talk by John. John has done a great job in explaining ODDA framework with examples and practical application. This can be applied not only in manufacturing but also in service industry. I work for General Motors.

This was a good talk talk by John. He talks about manufacturing operations and I assume its US based. How many companies in the US are really involved in manufacturing ? Most of the industries have been outsourced to China. US dependence (or worse global dependence) on China to manufacture products can't be neglected. So is this rapid recovery benefits China than US (there are fewer manufacturing facilities left out here). How can US manufacturing come back and lead the world?
