Here is a short Sims comparison on hanging clean wet laundry on the clothesline. The Laundry System in The Sims 3 came with The Sims 3: Ambition, and the laundry system in The Sims 4 came with a separate pack, The Sims 4: Laundry Day Stuff.

Sims 4 wins this one but it's mainly because laundry was a small feature in TS3 Ambitions while it was the main feature of a stuff pack in TS4, so of course they spent more time on it here.

Yeah, but one is a small feature of a big pack and another is the whole point of dlc.

I transitioned to the clothesline and basin because the dryer keeps catching on fire and they're all so happier for it, especially when I add a rose or lemon scent to the wash

Well, TS3's came with a full expansion pack. You TS4 players had to PAY EXTRA for three laundry crap and the added details 😅

You'd think Sims 4 takes the W until you realize they had a whole pack dedicated to laundry, while in Sims 3 it was just a small part of Ambitions.

i can't believe it, one thing that the sims 4 did better than the previous games other than toddlers 😮 really surprising!

i'd say occult sims are also better in ts4, but the price... ts3 gave us a single expansion with all occults sims, and nowadays you have to buy each one separately, and we don't even have an expansion for all of them yet 😭

It's both hilarious and baffling that this animation is one they actually improved instead of downgrading it like so many others.

Unfortunately the laundry in the Sims 4 is just a gimmick and doesn't affect the gameplay at all so I never made a laundry room in my house

Whenever I played with the Sims 4 laundry pack and placed the clothesline, my hampers would forever bug. 😭

Yeah well Sims 3 had an entire neighborhood to give memory space on so you know why they can't focus on animation.

The reason the sims 4 is so detailed is because that’s the selling point of an entirely stand alone laundry pack. This is still a representation of greed. The sims 3 wasn’t base game either but at least it was an addition to a pack themed on an addition of bigger scope.
