When I heard "Midway Classic Arcade" I really hoped there would be arcade versions of Sinistar and Bubbles included. I have a Sega Saturn version of the Williams Classics (which Midway owned by then) and those are nearly flawless. But $20 for three games, only two (Defender II and Joust) I'd be interested in, and NES ROMs to boot, and that seems to be a bit steep for my tastes.

For Gauntlet II on the NES I used to have it back in the day and it was never that buggy. It may have been a little bit slow with everything on the screen but never buggy. I attribute that to either poor emulation or the ROM dump was pretty bad.

One thing I wish you’d mentioned was whether the unit has micro switches for the stick and/or buttons. I have a couple of the Jakks Pacific units that do have micro switches.

I feel like a lot of the fun in Gauntlet is it's multiplayer. Not having that, even if the ROM dump was good, is sort of a buzz kill anyway.

When you showed that pic of you being stuck, you weren't. There are breakable blocks in this game and four were apparent (although very subtly) in your screenshot.

I almost grabbed this to play gauntlet. So glad I watched your review instead. Just not into nes roms and how misleading are those game titles.
