I decided to do something different and make a video explaining the scp object classifications

Euclid: Put it in a box and who knows what happens
Keter: Put it in a box and it escapes
Thaumiel: Is the box
Neutralized: Can't be put in a box because it doesn't exist anymore
Apollyon: The box is on fire, everything's on fire, we're all dead
Archon: Could be put in a box, but probably shouldn't be
Explained: Is in the box of science
Decommissioned: Banned from the box

I like the example on the wiki
A button that will destroy the universe if pressed is safe because you can just put the button in the room and not press it. A cat that can swap locations with any other cat in the world but is otherwise just a cat is Keter because it would be exceptionally difficult to prevent the cat from teleporting away.

I've been in this fandom for about 5 years and I forgot there were more classes than just safe, euclid, keter and neutralised.

Apollyon: regular cat with catnip

Archon: cat in heat
Decommissioned: the cat pooped in every box you put it in
Explained: N/A, cats can't be explained

I dont know much about SCP lore, but I've realized something. Cant the infinite IKEA be put into the thaumiel object class? If it's infinite, cant it contain other SCPs?

Cernunnos is pretty well established as "could theoretically be contained, but doing so would require prohibitively drastic measures" the defining example is a series V article (i forget the exact number) that could be contained, but only if humans cease all ritual behaviors (including those used to contain other anomalies, non-anomalous religious ceremonies, and even something as simple as saying 'bless you' in response to a sneeze) which is pretty clearly infeasible

I like that the explanations for the lock box are just “it’s good, it’s fine” “it might not be good” “it’s not good” “E V E R Y T H I N G I S D E A D”
