MinnKota IPilot Link Touchscreen Remote Tweak to Work Like an IPhone

Here’s a great little tweak for your Minn Kota IPilot Link touchscreen remote. You will learn to screen rotate the touchscreen display so that the buttons will be at the bottom instead of the top. The display will be rotated or flipped so that it is now oriented similar to a cell phone! In this way, it’s more like using an IPhone with the keypad on the bottom opposed to the top. This Minn Kota IPilot Link touchscreen remote option will be welcomed by cell phone enthusiasts who are used to using their thumbs on keypads. Hopefully your Minn Kota touchscreen remote will now be more comfortable to use moving forward.

Great tip. Can't wait to try out on open water. Wonderful seen you at the boat show.

I hate the iPilot link remote. I prefer the one that comes with my older terrova. I fished with it in the rain and I kept in spot locking, and accidentally hitting stuff on the screen. I didn’t know until the end of the trip you can turn off touch screen. I wish I had the old remote. Only feature I like better is the spot lock jogging having a menu.
