How To Install Minn Kota iPilot Link

Minn Kota iPilot has been available for many years and is very well known among anglers. The latest addition to Minn Kota iPilot is iPilot Link which does everything the traditional Minn Kota iPilot Link will but offers some additional features. The best way to describe the "Link" feature is iPilot on steroids.

iPilot Link allows the Minn Kota trolling motor to be networked with the Humminbird sonar unit allowing you to control many of the iPilot functions directly from the Humminbird sonar. In the case of the Humminbird Onix sonar, you have touch screen control of the Pilot.

iPilot and iPilot link can be purchased on new trolling motors already installed but are also available as an add on so you can add them to your existing trolling motor as well.

The installation process is very easy.

I recently installed the Minn Kota iPilot Link on my SeaArk ProCat 240 catfish boat and added the iPilot Link to the Terrova trolling motor and wanted to share some tips for installing it as well as show how easy installation is.

Something weird I got the old town autopilot 120 with the minnkota, minnkota says I can’t install the ipilot link to the power drive but my friend and I took his ipilot link head to my new kayak and it works why would minnkota say it doesn’t work?
