I needed this, I needed to hear something positive powerful and 100% true about The Jedi GrandMaster Mace Windu, The Most Powerful yet stoic Jedi.. So many fans have so many negative things to say about him and it’s all almost guided untruths things that they don’t genuinely get or understand. He wasn’t a perfect person, but he had more strength than he did weaknesses. He always stiff for it was right he played by the rules, most of the time. He’s one of my favorite Jedi ever. I think it was Windu's intense focus on not just knowing, but understanding Right from wrong, The Force and the Jedi code. It was this understanding that enabled him to use flow of the dark side and never falling victim to it. Not only that but it enabled him to use the force unique from many others. Personally I think if Anakin not been there he would of beat Sidious. It wasn't Anakin jumping in and deflecting Windu's thrust but the shatterpoint he sense, and realizing when it was too late that it was for Anakin and not Sidious.

If there was a lightsaber tournament involving every Star Wars character before Grand Master Luke, Mace Windu would have been the champion. He would have defeated Yoda in the finals. ONce Luke became Grand Master, he would be the champion defeating Mace in the finals. Many think all Mace could bring to the table is Vapaad. This is just not true. Mace was a master at all seven forms of lightsaber combat. Whoever was his opponent, Mace had something for them. If they were a sith, then Mace was unbeatable. He showed that against Sidious who was probably the best darkside lightsaber duelist. The description of Windu and Sidious fighting as seen by Anakin, just blurs fading in and out of existence has only been used one other time to describe someone fighting and that was Luke. Luke was also described when fighting as if he was fighting with 30 lightsabers. Darth Vadar was never described like that while fighting. Nor has Darth Bane or Darth Krayt, probably spelled that wrong. My point is, when Mace defeated Sidious, he showed he could defeat any sith lord in the history of the Star Wars Galaxy which obviously includes Vadar. Vadar didn't have that kind of speed and his tremendous use of the dark side would have only fueled Windu's use of Vapaad. Having mastered all forms of lightsaber forms would have helped him defeat all Jedi throughout history before Grand Master Luke. As Samuel Jackson would say, "He was one bad motherf..ker"

Knowing Windus ability to control the dark side. If he liked Anakin he may have been able to change the Jedi fate. Anakin seems like a perfect student to learn Vaapad. Althoigh Anakin most likely wouldn't have the discipline, if he could of taught him, it would change a lot.

Destiny does not mark the way of the force, but rather the decision-making abilities of intelligent beings; the fickle nature of the force stems from the idea that there are always multiple decisions to every pivotal moment in life, with the consequences of these decisions being almost equally divided by the light and dark sides of the force. In other words, everyone is capable of either side of the force.

Fun fact (IMO): if windu wasn’t such an arrogant prick, anakin would never have joined sidious. Windu always treated him poorly, and then chose to commit murder and treason instead of taking sidious into custody. Anakin was technically right to stop him, even by force. Windu confirmed the concern that the Jedi served themselves, not the republic, playing directly into sidious’s hand and leaving anakin with little choice at a point he was already vulnerable and confused.
Windu should never have been on the council. He failed everyone.

Mace Windu is a useless character that gets dropped pretty quickly.
So any Star Wars movies he is in is just another proof that the black dude always dies first.
The prequels are absolute dogshit.
