I think there MIGHT be a way to break in
Step 1: It's much faster to break ladders with an axe or something like that. You must need shears and an axe to break through from the top. At this point, block in is honestly quite easy, then you just gotta need a few more items, and there you go! You can block in and break the defense, you just gotta keep caution of some extra blocks in order to successfully do it without being killed. It's also quite easy to land because if you land on the ladders, you will take absolutely no damage unless you completely fall onto the floor. But, going from the sides is much more easier since you can:
* Block in much more easier, having less blocks you need to block yourself in the defense
* You can also break them much more easier, considering the fact you are already aware of what you are going to do
* and so on.

Those are only one of the ways to block in for now.

Think outside the box, make a 1 layer wool, if they don't have the space to block themself in, they can't block themself in.
