Hey guys and gals! I hope you’re all having a great week so far. This Neptune 3 Pro works fantastic and the simple timelapse mod made this even better. The files for it are available in the description so you can download them for free. I hope you enjoy and I’ll see you in the next one 👍🏻

I would have loved the Pro version but they showed sold out for Black Friday so got just the regular Neptune 3 and so far is fantastic and the price was so good. Great video and review

Still loving the reviews, now I just need the VA to make a disability determination (almost 2 years and counting) so I can pick up a couple of the machines that will fit what I need them for. I am going to do cast copper inlays in epoxy coat counter tops, as well as signs for "Puppy Tail Farms", my farm. Your reviews are indispensable for my research.

Nice Review.
I have a quick question: Is the size mentioned on the website (475*445*515mm) the actual size
with the filament holder and the Display on the side or does the printer needs more space to stand somewhere? (I'm asking because I would like to put it in a cupboard which has a height of 550mm and a depth of 520mm.)

how accurate is the temperature sensing?
I bought the Neptune 2S when it was new out, and since day 1, always been 20c innacurate....
If you want the nozzle to be 220c, you need to set it to print at 240c...
not a big deal, Im used to it now... But still... Nothing something you'd expect from a brand new printer...

Great video, I'm thinking on buying this printer as my first 3D printer. But I have one question. I'm going to use a little table that I have on my room, the problem is that I don't know if it'll fit.

I would like to know which are the dimensions of the machine, not including the width of the screen, because if it's necessary I could put the screen on another place so the printer fits the table.

If you could provide me these dimensions I would be really grateful, since in the official website doesn't give a lot of information about the dimensions of the printer, with or without the screen

I don't agree with you on the bad things you talk about:
Switch position - I don't care
Sensor - as long as it doesn't fall of, it is fine
Handle - are you seriously gonna carry your printer around this much?
Build volume - this is already bigger than the Ender 3, if you want more, get the Plus or the Max
Coords - I don't think that is important

I've been looking at this vs. the Solvol -SV04- SV06 and I think you may have missed some things:

1. The hotend is PTFE lined. Not a good idea for more exotic filaments (PTFE degrades and releases toxic fumes above ~240°C).
2. The filament sensor positioning and mounting make feeding from a dryer impossible unless it's above the machine.
3. People have found the bed does *not* heat evenly. Again this is not great for more exotic filaments.
4. The source code has not been completely released, a probable GPL violation.
5. Lastly, not much on this machine is upgradeable.

If you like the interface, don't mind buying another printer after 2-3 years and only intend to print with PLA & PETG then it otherwise looks like a good choice.

What slicer do you use? I can't seem to find one that is compatible with the Neptune 3 pro.

Mine kept "grinding" on the Z Axis when I first set it uo and it would not go up and down smoothly and often just got stuck. After a lot of trying to sort it out I found that if I loosened the four screws holding the gantry to the base it worked pretty well but I am worried about it being loose as if I tighten the screws up I have the same problem of the grinding and getting stuck going up and down anty suggestions would be mostt welcome
