Kicking off in 2008 with Iron Man the Marvel Cinematic Universe built it's way to a huge superhero crossover in The Avengers 2012 pulling off what many thought would be impossible. And we're here to determine the very best from the two mentioned plus The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, plus some other bonus mentions including some Marvel One Shots. Still really odd how the Cap costume was so good in First Avenger and so bad in Avengers Assemble? I love that they can’t talk about Iron Man without mentioning the “you can have two slices of pizza” improvement line. you two better continue with the other phases and always use the same tier list! just continue on it! AoS is definitely a B is Old BEN OWN WAN Kenobi and C tire is Hulk or D tire is Thor so I dropped off in the last series as I didn't care about the plot by then but I enjoyed it up until then and I think they did the Hydra stuff quite well. Pretty spot on, good stuff. I really wish the Netflix series kept them self-contained like they are but have a bonus one-shot episode where you see what they did during the battle of New York. Daredevil helps to evacuate apartment blocks and has a big fight with an alien at the end to demonstrate his street-level powers. Maybe Jessica Jones and Luke Cage have episodes where they are helping out but also trying to hide that they have powers.
Punisher just helps up in a building mini-gunning. The MCU made me actually like Iron Man and Captain America. It let me see them at their best and appreciate them. Because before the MCU kicked off? I couldn't stand either of them. In fact, this whole 'Avengers' corner of the Marvel universe was a big shrug from me. I was much more of a DC guy. But they REALLY brought me around and now I fucking love them. :) This channel makes the only tier list videos that are actually fun. Every Spider-Clone, tier is listed. We're talking about Ben Reilly, the skeleton with a quarter of a Spidey mask on it, Spidercide, and maybe others. James I definitely recommend checking out Season 4 of Agents of Shield! It's the best season in my opinion and its also the one that does Secret Invasion the right way. Something happens!
